This subject will equip and help you understand the correct manoeuvre and protocol to follow when escorting a VIP.

1. Driving Protocol
    a. Qualifications of a Driver.
    b. Specifications of the Vehicles.
    c. Equipment Required for the Vehicle.

2. Vehicle Convoys
    a. Basic convoy layout.
    b. Types of journeys.
    c. Appreciation of the route.
    d. How to select a route.
    e. Preparation of a route recce.
    f. Information to be gathered.
    g. Possible dangers points.

3. Practical Exercises
    The candidate is given a series of instructions, whereby he has to escort a VIP, (the instructor in this case as
    he is under training) to a pre-selected route. All theory is put into practice.
